April 2021 - Peterborough & Ontario Real Estate Market Update.

April marked the first month in 2021 where the massive month over month gains in the average sales price began to wobble. Month over month, average prices declined slightly, while inventory still remains extremely low, and such price trends are not likely to continue in the short term.

In this video I go over a host of factors that are affecting our market, where I think things are heading this summer, and most importantly, what is happening at the national economic level. Inflation has begun to take place across the board of all consumer goods and services, and this factor could pose a large problem for the governments proposed low for long interest rate policies which have partly fuelled this market.
